First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove source of exposure or move person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Take off contaminated clothing, shoes and leather goods (e.g. watchbands, belts). Wash clothing before reuse.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove contact lens, if worn. Protect unharmed eye. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Do not rub eyes.
Rinse mouth with water. Please be advised by doctor whether induction of vomit is demanded or not.
Immediate Medical Attention
Get medical aid immediately.
Medical Treatment
If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Dry chemical, foam or carbon dioxide.
Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
In a fire or if heated, a pressure increase will occur and the container may burst.
Isolate immediate hazard area and keep unauthorized personnel out. Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely.
Firefighter Protection
In case of fire, wear a full face positive-pressure self contained breathing apparatus and protective suit. Keep containers cool with water spray.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
add absorbent (soil may be used in the absence of other suitable materials) And use a non-sparking or explosion proof means to transfer material to a sealed, appropriate container for disposal.
dike spilled material or otherwise contain material to ensure runoff does not reach a waterway.
Minimize contact of spilled material with soils to prevent runoff to surface waterways.
Sweep up and place in an appropriate closed container; Pick up and arrange disposal.

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Avoid direct or prolonged contact with skin and eyes. Avoid localized overheating. Vent drums while heating. Mix thoroughly to assure homogeneity. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
DO NOT ALLOW TO FREEZE. If freezing occurs, thaw and remix before using. Frozen material may be thawed in a warm room.
Do not smoke.
Do not handle, store or open near an open flame, sources of heat or sources of ignition. Do not smoke.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Maintain air concentrations below occupational exposure levels and flammable limits. Use local explosion-proof exhaust ventilation for operations stoat produce a mist, vapour or fume. Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapors below their respective threshold limit value.
Use of gloves approved to relevant standards made from the following materials may provide suitable chemical protection: PVC, neoprene or nitrile rubber gloves. Suitability and durability of a glove is dependent on usage, e.g. frequency and duration of contact, chemical resistance of glove material, glove thickness, dexterity. The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Wear safety glasses with side shields. Eye and face protection requirements will vary dependent upon work environment conditions and material handling practices. Appropriate ANSI Z87 approved equipment should be selected for the particular use intended for this material. Eye contact should be prevented through use of chemical safety glasses with side shields or splash proof googles.
Any chemical cartridge respirator with organic vapor cartridge. Any chemical cartridge respirator with a full facepiece and an organic vapor canister. For Unknown Concentration or Immediately Dangerous to life or health: Any supplied-air respirator with full facepiece and operated in a pressure-demand or other positive-pressure mode in combination with a separate escape supply. Any self-confined breathing apparatus with a full facepiece. If engineering controls do not maintain airborne concentrations to a level which is adequate to protect worker, a respiratory protection program that meets or is equivalent to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 should be followed.
