First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention.
Symptoms: May cause minor irritation to the respiratory tract and to other mucous membranes.
Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
Symptoms: Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause irritation.
Immediately flush thoroughly with water for at least 20 minutes, while holding the eye lids open to be sure the material is washed out. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get immediate medical advice/attention.
Symptoms: May cause severe eye irritation with possible eye damage.
Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Symptoms: May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Immediate Medical Attention
Immediate medical attention is required for eye contact.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use dry chemical, CO2, water spray or alcohol-resistant foam.
Do not use a heavy water stream.
Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Vapours are heavier than air and may travel considerable distance to an ignition source and flash back to source of vapours. Prolonged exposure to fire may cause containers to rupture/explode.
Cool down the containers exposed to heat with a water spray. Fight fire from safe distance and protected location. Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Firefighter Protection
Use self-contained breathing apparatus and chemically protective clothing. Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
General measures: Remove ignition sources. Stop leak if safe to do so. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel away from the spillage. Do not touch or walk on the spilled product. For non-emergency personnel: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing mist, vapours. Ventilate spillage area. For emergency responders: Eliminate ignition sources. Evacuate unnecessary personnel.
Avoid release to the environment.
Use non-sparking tools. Absorb and/or contain spill with inert material, then place in suitable container.

Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Use with adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to maintain exposure levels below the occupational exposure limits. Use explosion-proof equipment.
In case of repeated or prolonged contact wear gloves. Wear suitable gloves tested to EN374. Contact your glove supplier for selection assistance.
Wear safety goggles or other eye protection to prevent eye contact. Use eye protection according to EN 166.
In operations where exposure limits are exceeded or exposure levels are excessive, an approved respirator should be used. Respirator selection and use should be based on contaminant type, form and concentration. Follow applicable regulations and good Industrial Hygiene practice.
Wear suitable protective clothing. EN 13034
