First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Bij ademhalingsmoeilijkheden het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen en laten rusten in een houding die het ademen vergemakkelijkt. Bij aanhoudende klachten arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Ademhalingsmoeilijkheden, irritatie van de luchtwegen en slijmvliezen, slaperigheid, duizeligheid, hoofdpijn, misselijkheid, vermoeidheid, narcotisch effect bij hoge dosis.
Onmiddellijk met water en zeep afwassen en goed spoelen. In geval van huidreacties arts consulteren.
Symptoms: Huidirritatie.
Onmiddellijk ogen met geopend ooglid 10 tot 15 minuten met stromend water spoelen. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Aansluitend oogarts consulteren.
Onmiddellijk mond spoelen en veel water drinken. Dien nooit iets via de mond toe aan bewusteloze personen. Laat slachtoffer niet braken. Pas op bij braken: inademingsgevaar! Arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Kan dodelijk zijn als de stof bij inslikken in de luchtwegen terechtkomt. Hoofdpijn, Misselijkheid, Duizeligheid, vermoeidheid.
Immediate Medical Attention
Raadpleeg een arts bij aanhoudende klachten na inhalatie, in geval van huidreacties, na oogcontact (oogarts consulteren), en na ingestie. Symptomen kunnen ook pas vele uren na blootstelling optreden, wat medische aandacht vereist.

Bij overschrijding van de grenswaarde op de werkplek ademhalingstoestel gebruiken. Bij ontoereikende ventilatie een geschikte adembescherming dragen. Aanbeveling: Filter type A (= tegen dampen van organische verbindingen) gebruiken. De adembeschermingsfilterklasse dient noodzakelijkerwijs te worden aangepast aan de maximale concentratie van schadelijke stoffen (gas/ stoom/ aerosol/ partikels) die bij het gebruik van het product kan ontstaan.
Vlamvertragende antistatische en chemisch bestendige beschermingskleding dragen.
