First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen en laten rusten in een houding die het ademen vergemakkelijkt. Bij onwel voelen een antigifcentrum of een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: slaperigheid of duizeligheid. Hoofdpijn.
Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. Huid met water afspoelen/afdouchen. Bel onmiddellijk een arts of het Nationaal Vergiftigingen Informatie Centrum. Chemische brandwonden door een arts laten behandelen. Verontreinigde kleding wassen alvorens deze opnieuw te gebruiken.
Symptoms: Brandende pijn en ernstig bijtend huidletsel.
Spoel de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water, gedurende minstens 15 minuten. Eventuele contactlenzen verwijderen, indien dit gemakkelijk kan gebeuren. Blijven spoelen. Bel onmiddellijk een arts of het Nationaal Vergiftigingen Informatie Centrum.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt ernstig oogletsel. De symptomen kunnen onder andere zijn: steken, scheuren, roodheid, opzwelling en onscherp gezichtsvermogen. Kan leiden tot blijvend oogletsel inclusief blindheid.
Bel onmiddellijk een arts of het Nationaal Vergiftigingen Informatie Centrum. De mond spoelen. GEEN braken opwekken. Bij braken het hoofd laag houden, zodat de maaginhoud niet in de longen kan komen.
Symptoms: Misselijkheid, braken.
Immediate Medical Attention
Bel onmiddellijk een arts of het Nationaal Vergiftigingen Informatie Centrum. Chemische brandwonden: Onmiddellijk spoelen met water. Verwijder tijdens het spoelen kleding die niet is vastgebrand. Laat een ambulance komen. Ga tijdens het vervoer door met spoelen. Houd slachtoffer onder observatie.

Er moet een explosieveilige afzuigingsventilatie gebruikt worden. Er moet een goede algehele ventilatie worden gebruikt. Ventiliatiesnelheden moeten zijn aangepast aan de omstandigheden. Bij ontoereikende ventilatie een geschikte adembescherming dragen. Gebruik bij onvoldoende ventilatie een ademhalingsmasker met filter type: A2-P2. CEN : EN 136; EN 14387

Breng het hiervoor aangewezen leidinggevend of toezichthoudend personeel altijd op de hoogte wanneer een stof onbedoeld vrijkomt. Emissies van ventilatie- of procesapparatuur moet worden gecontroleerd om na te gaan dat zij voldoen aan de vereisten van milieubeschermingswetten. Rookgaswassers, filters of technische aanpassingen aan de procesapparatuur kunnen nodig zijn om de emissies tot aanvaardbaar niveaus te brengen. Afval niet in de gootsteen werpen; deze stof en de verpakking naar een inzamelpunt voor gevaarlijk of bijzonder afval brengen. Vermijd lozing in publieke riolering of onmiddellijke omgeving.
