Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Na inademen: frisse lucht. Arts waarschuwen.
Symptoms: Kortademigheid
Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. Huid met water afspoelen/ afdouchen. Onmiddellijk een arts waarschuwen.
Symptoms: Irritatie en corrosie
Na oog contact: uitspoelen met ruim voldoende water. Onmiddellijk een oogarts raadplegen. Contactlenzen uitnemen.
Symptoms: Gevaar voor troebelheid van de cornea. Gevaar voor blindheid!
Slachtoffer water laten drinken (niet meer dan twee glazen), braken voorkomen (perforatiegevaar!). Onmiddellijk een arts waarschuwen. Niet proberen te neutraliseren.
Symptoms: maagkrampen, Misselijkheid, Braken, Collaps van de bloedsomloop, shock

Voor volledig contact: butylrubber handschoenen, 0,7 mm dikte, doorbraaktijd > 480 min. Voor spatcontact: Natuurlijk latex handschoenen, 0,6 mm dikte, doorbraaktijd > 30 min. Handschoenen moeten voldoen aan EG regeling 89/686/EEG en EN374 (bijv. KCL 898 Butoject, KCL 706 Lapren).
Nauw aansluitende veiligheidsstofbril
Nodig indien dampen/aerosolen gevormd worden. Aanbevolen filtertype: Filter E-(P2). Onderhoud, reiniging en beproeving van adembeschermingstoestellen moeten worden uitgevoerd volgens de voorschriften van de leverancier en gedocumenteerd.
Vlamvertragende, antistatische beschermingskleding.
