Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Breng het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht. Bij ademhalingsproblemen: arts/medische dienst raadplegen. De persoon in de frisse lucht brengen en ervoor zorgen dat deze gemakkelijk kan ademen.
Symptoms: Droge keel/keelpijn. Hoesten. Lopende neus. Irritatie luchtwegen. Neusslijmvliesirritatie.
Met veel water en zeep wassen. Onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen. Geen (chemisch) neutralisatiemiddel gebruiken. Slachtoffer naar arts brengen als irritatie aanhoudt.
Symptoms: Prikkeling/irritatie van de huid.
Voorzichtig afspoelen met water gedurende een aantal minuten; contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk; blijven spoelen. Onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen. Geen neutralisatiemiddel gebruiken. Slachtoffer naar oogarts brengen als irritatie aanhoudt.
Symptoms: Irritatie van het oogweefsel.
Mond spoelen met water. Zo vlug mogelijk na inname: veel water laten drinken. Niet laten braken. Indien men zich onwel voelt: medische dienst/arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Irritatie maag-darmslijmvliezen.
Immediate Medical Attention
Afhankelijk van de toestand: arts/ziekenhuis. Bij ademhalingsproblemen: arts/medische dienst raadplegen. Bij huidirritatie of uitslag: een arts raadplegen. Slachtoffer naar arts brengen als irritatie aanhoudt (huid). Slachtoffer naar oogarts brengen als irritatie aanhoudt (ogen). Indien men zich onwel voelt: medische dienst/arts raadplegen (na inslikken).
