Inhalation Exposure
Breng de persoon in frisse lucht. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
Skin Contact
Onmiddellijk wassen met zeep en water. Verwijder gecontamineerde kleren en was ze alvorens terug te gebruiken. Raadpleeg een arts wanneer de symptomen zich ontwikkelen.
Eye Contact
Spoelen met grote hoeveelheden water. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Zoek medische hulp als tekens/symptomen ontwikkelen.
Ingestion/Swallowing
Spoel de mond. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.

Gebruik een algemene verdunningsventilatie en / of plaatselijke afzuiging om de luchtconcentratie onder de relevante blootstellingslimieten te houden en/of de controle te bewaren over stof / rook / gas / nevel / damp of spuitnevel.
Hand Protection
Handschoenen die voldoende bescherming bieden dienen te worden gedragen tijdens het aanbrengen van de casting tape. NB: gebleken is dat nitriel handschoenen met een minimale dikte van 0.127 mm (5 mil, 0.005 inch) voldoende bescherming bieden. Het oppervlakte van de cast zou vrij moeten zijn van monomeer en polymeer isocyanaten binnen 30 minuten na aanbrengen wanneer de juiste applicatie methode (wetting) is toegepast.
Eye Protection
Oogbescherming wordt niet nodig geacht.
Respiratory Protection
Indien ventilatie onvoldoende is, gebruik ademhalingsbescherming. Resultaten van luchtmonsters die genomen werden tijdens een gesimuleerde toepassing van het product tonen aan dat dempen van methyleendifenyldiisocyanaat zoals gebruikt in het product niet detecteerbaar zijn tijdens het gebruik in de ?cast? kamers van de zorginstelling. De detectielimieten waren zeer laag en ver onder de internationale aanbevolen veiligheidsvoorschriften voor het werken met isocyanaten. Onder normale gebruiksomstandigheden worden geen airborne blootstellingen verwacht die significant genoeg zijn om adembescherming te vereisen Mensen met luchtwegproblemen of met een verhoogde gevoeligheid voor isocyanaat kunnen wel steeds reageren op lage concentraties isocyanaat.
