Gebruik voor de reiniging een stofzulger met filters met hoge doeltreffendheid; gebruik een droge borstel of perslucht. Door speciala aangepaste producten te gebruiken, komt minder stof vrij. Een aantal producten kunnen gebruiksklaar worden geleverd, zonder dat ze gesneden of bewerkt hoeven te worden. Draag handschoenen en een pak dat niet spant aan de hals en de polsen. Was de werkkleding apart om de andere was niet te vervuilen. Spoel na behandeling de eventueel blootgestelde van de huid met water.
