Draag geschikte handschoenen. (EN 374) Bestand tegen oplosmiddelen. Keuze van het handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de doorbraaktijden, permeatiesnelheden en de degradatie. Geschikt materiaal: De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en varieert van fabrikant tot fabrikant. Omdat het product uit meerdere stoffen bestaat, is de weerstand van handschoenmaterialen niet voorspelbaar en moet daarom vr gebruik worden gecontroleerd. NBR (Nitrilrubber) dikte van het handschoenenmateriaal: >= 0,5 mm Doordringingstijd (maximale draagtijd): Voor continu contact bevelen wij handschoenen aan met een penetratietijd van minstens 240 minuten, waarbij de voorkeur gegeven wordt aan een penetratietijd van meer dan 480 minuten. Voor kortstondige of spatbescherming bevelen we hetzelfde aan. Wij zijn ons ervan bewust dat geschikte handschoenen die dit beschermingsniveau bieden, mogelijk niet beschikbaar zijn. In dat geval kan een kortere penetratietijd aanvaardbaar zijn zolang de procedures voor toepasselijk onderhoud en tijdige vervanging gevolgd worden. . De dikte van de handschoen is geen goede maat voor de weerstand van de handschoenen tegen een chemische stof. Dit is eerder afhankelijk van de exacte samenstelling van het handschoenenmateriaal. De precieze penetratietijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; hou er rekening mee.
