Veiligheidshandschoenen. Kies handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de penetratietijden, de permeatiegraden en de degradatie. De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal, maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en verschilt van fabrikant tot fabrikant. Aangezien het product uit meerdere stoffen is samengesteld, is de duurzaamheid van de handschoenmaterialen niet vooraf berekenbaar en moet derhalve vr het gebruik worden getest. De precieze penetratietijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; houd er rekening mee. De vastgestelde penetratietijden volgens EN 16523-1:2015 werden niet onder de praktijkvoorwaarden bepaald. Er wordt bijgevolg een maximale draagtijd aanbevolen die overeenkomt met 50 % van de opgegeven penetratietijd. Voor een langdurig contact zijn handschoenen uit de volgende materialen geschikt: Handschoenen uit PVC. Voor een langdurig contact van maximaal 15 minuten zijn handschoenen uit de volgende materialen geschikt: Handschoenen uit PVC. Als bescherming tegen spatten zijn handschoenen uit de volgende materialen geschikt: Handschoenen uit PVC. Niet geschikt zijn handschoenen uit de volgende materialen: Natuurrubber (latex), Handschoenen uit dikke stof.
