Dit mengsel bevat een fijne fractie kristallijne silica. Beschadigung van longblaasjes kan echter worden uitgesloten, omdat de silica onomkeerbaar een integraal onderdeel vormt van de pasteuze componenten, en dus niet vrij beschikbaar is. Ook na boren, slipen of andere behandeling, is een vrije beschikbaarheid van de silica en dus beschadiging van longblaasjes, uitgesloten. Volgens artikel 6 van de CLP-verordening 1272/2008/EU is daarom de classificatie en etikettering als STOT RE 2 niet noodzakelijk.
