INOVYN™ PVC klassen kunnen sporen van vinylchloride monomeer (VCM) bevatten. VCM is gasvormig en kan langzaam in de omgeving vrijkomen. Zo een uitstoot in de lucht nabij een productiebedrijf zal enkel sporen van VCM bevatten waarvan de concentratie aanzienlijk lager is dan de aangegeven limieten.

Bij ademhalingsmoeilijkheden het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen en laten rusten in een houding die het ademen vergemakkelijkt.

Handling and Storage

Uitsluitend bewaren in de oorspronkelijke verpakking bij temperaturen beneden 40 °C. In goed gesloten verpakking bewaren.
Verwijderd houden van eet- en drinkwaren en van dierenvoedsel.
Verwijderd houden van warmte en ontstekingsbronnen. Maatregelen treffen tegen ontladingen van statische elektriciteit.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Zorg dragen voor toereikende ventilatie. De concentraties op de werkplek toetsen aan de bedrijfshygiënische grenswaarde.
Draag geschikte bescherming van de ogen/het gezicht. Als er stof waarschijnlijk worden gegenereerd: Volledig aansluitende veiligheidsbril.
Normaal geen persoonlijke adembescherming nodig is. Een goedgekeurd stofmasker dragen indien tijdens gebruik stofvorming optreedt. Een geschikt stofmasker of stof adem bescherming met filter type P (EN143 of EN405) kunnen nodig zijn.
Geen speciale vereisten.
Laat geen grote hoeveelheden vrij in het oppervlaktewater of in de riolering.

Met uitzondering van zwavelzuur (>90%) en salpeterzuur (>50%), is PVC resistent tegen zuren en alkaliën tot en met 60°C. Boven deze temperatuur wordt het polymeer echter aangetast door de sterkere zuren.
