First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove person to fresh air. If necessary, use artificial respiration to support vital functions.

Skin contact

Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove exposed or contaminated clothing, taking care not to contaminate eyes. Seek immediate medical attention if adverse effect occurs.

Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water continuously for a minimum of 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention if adverse effect occurs.

DO NOT attempt to induce vomiting. Have the individual rinse mouth with water thoroughly. NEVER give anything to an unconscious person. Call a physician or your local Poison Control Center and immediately have the person transported to a medical facility.
