After contact with the eyes, rinse with water with the eyelids open for a sufficient length of time, then consult an ophthalmologist immediately.

Ingestion

Immediately call a doctor.

Immediate Medical Attention

Immediately call a doctor.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Carbon dioxide (CO2). Extinguishing powder. Water spray. In case of major fire and large quantities: Water spray jet, alcohol resistant foam.

Unsuitable media

Full water jet

Specific hazards

In case of fire may be liberated: Gases/vapours, toxic

Instructions

Use water spray jet to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers. Suppress gases/vapours/mists with water spray jet.

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Do not breathe gas/fumes/vapour/spray. Use personal protection equipment.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed and dry. Keep/Store only in original container. Protect against: frost.

Hygiene

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes.

Fire prevention

No special fire protection measures are necessary.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Provide adequate ventilation as well as local exhaustion at critical locations.

Hands

Wear suitable gloves. Suitable material: NBR (Nitrile rubber), FKM (fluoro rubber). Thickness of the glove material >= 0,5 mm. Suitable material: PVC (Polyvinyl chloride). Wearing time with permanent contact: <= 15 min. Unsuitable material: Thick fabric, Leather articles. When handling with chemical substances, protective gloves must be worn with the CE-label including the four control digits. The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances. Protect skin by using skin protective cream. For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves.

Eyes

Tightly sealed safety glasses.

Respiratory

In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. Combination filtering device (EN 14387) A-P2
