First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

If spray/mist has been inhaled, proceed as follows. Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist.

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.

Symptoms: Irritation (if persists), serious thermal burns (from hot product).

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention.

Symptoms: Aspiration hazard if swallowed. Entry into the lungs following ingestion or vomiting may cause chemical pneumonitis.

Immediate Medical Attention

Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist (inhalation), if irritation persists (skin/eyes), or after ingestion. Treat symptomatically.
