First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
In case of accident by inhalation: remove casualty to fresh air and keep at rest. In case of respiratory tract irritation, consult a physician.
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. In case of skin irritation, seek medical treatment.
Rinse immediately carefully and thoroughly with eye-bath or water. In case of troubles or persistent symptoms, consult an ophthalmologist.
Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Let water be drunken in little sips (dilution effect). In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry extinguishing powder. alcohol resistant foam. Atomized water.
High power water jet.
Can be released in case of fire: Carbon monoxide. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Co-ordinate fire-fighting measures to the fire surroundings.
Firefighter Protection
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
See protective measures under point 7 and 8.
Do not empty into drains.
Clean contaminated objects and areas thoroughly observing environmental regulations.
Materials: sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Wear suitable protective clothing. (See section 8.) The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be considered. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes.
Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect against heat.
General protection and hygiene measures: See section 8.
Usual measures for fire prevention.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
No special measures are necessary.
In case of prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact: Wear protective gloves. DIN EN 374 Suitable material: - NBR (Nitrile rubber). (0,35 mm); Breakthrough time > 8 h - CR (polychloroprenes, Chloroprene rubber). (0,5 mm); Breakthrough time > 8 h - Butyl rubber. (0,5 mm); Breakthrough time > 8 h - FKM (fluororubber). (0,35 mm); Breakthrough time > 8 h For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves. Before using check leak tightness / impermeability. In the case of wanting to use the gloves again, clean them before taking off and air them well.
Wear safety glasses; chemical goggles (if splashing is possible).
With correct and proper use, and under normal conditions, breathing protection is not required. Respiratory protection necessary at: aerosol or mist generation. Suitable respiratory protective equipment: particulates filter device (DIN EN 143). Type: P1-3. The filter class must be suitable for the maximum contaminant concentration (gas/vapour/aerosol/particulates) that may arise when handling the product. If the concentration is exceeded, closed-circuit breathing apparatus must be used!
Protective clothing. Minimum standard for preventive measures while handling with working materials are specified in the TRGS 500 (D).
Do not allow uncontrolled discharge of product into the environment.
