Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Hands

Protective gloves. Only use chemical-protective gloves with CE-labelling of category III. Avoid direct contact with the chemical/ the product/ the preparation by organisational measures. Check protective gloves prior to each use for their proper condition. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation. After use of gloves apply skin-cleaning agents and skin cosmetics. Material of gloves: Butyl rubber, BR. Recommended thickness of the material: ≥ 0.5 mm. Penetration time of glove material: at least 480 minutes (Permeation according to EN 374 Part 3: Level≥6).

Eyes

Tightly sealed goggles

Respiratory

Use suitable respiratory protective device when high concentrations are present. Not necessary if room is well-ventilated. Use suitable respiratory protective device in case of insufficient ventilation. Filter A/P2
