Supply fresh air and to be sure call for a doctor. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation. Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.

Skin contact

Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Seek medical treatment.

Eye contact

Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Protect unharmed eye.

Ingestion

If symptoms persist consult doctor.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

CO2, sand, extinguishing powder. Do not use water. ABC powder Alcohol resistant foam CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

Unsuitable media

Water with full jet

Specific hazards

During heating or in case of fire poisonous gases are produced.

Instructions

Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

Firefighter Protection

Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Keep unprotected persons away.

Environmental

Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course. Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system. Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water. Prevent from spreading (e.g. by damming-in or oil barriers).

Cleanup methods

Ensure adequate ventilation. Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust). Dispose contaminated material as waste according to item 13. Do not flush with water or aqueous cleansing agents

07

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep receptacles tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed receptacles. Prevent formation of aerosols.

Storage

Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed receptacles. Protect from frost. Keep container tightly sealed.

Fire prevention

Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Hands

Protective gloves. Only use chemical-protective gloves with CE-labelling of category III. Avoid direct contact with the chemical/ the product/ the preparation by organisational measures. Check protective gloves prior to each use for their proper condition. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation. After use of gloves apply skin-cleaning agents and skin cosmetics. Material of gloves: Butyl rubber, BR. Recommended thickness of the material: ≥0.5 mm. For the mixture of chemicals mentioned below the penetration time has to be at least 480 minutes (Permeation according to EN 374 Part 3: Level ≥6). The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

Eyes

Tightly sealed goggles

Respiratory

Use suitable respiratory protective device when high concentrations are present. Not necessary if room is well-ventilated. Use suitable respiratory protective device in case of insufficient ventilation. Filter A/P2

Skin/Body

Protective work clothing. Impervious protective clothing
