First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If breathed in, move person into fresh air. Administer approved oxygen supply if breathing is difficult. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
Immediately wash off with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and/or footwear. Seek medical advice.
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and seek immediate medical attention.
Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician. Place victim in a stable side position and keep warm.
Immediate Medical Attention
Seek medical advice/Consult a physician.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Flammable liquid and vapour.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Evacuate the area and remove all sources of ignition. Use personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Beware of vapours accumulating to form explosive concentrations. Vapours can accumulate in low areas.
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Collect with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or by wet-brushing and place in container for disposal according to local regulations. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pick up is complete.
