First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. In case of respiratory tract irritation, consult a physician. Provide fresh air.
Symptoms: Respiratory complaints
Wash immediately with: Water and soap In case of skin irritation, consult a physician.
In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist.
Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Let water be drunken in little sips (dilution effect).
Immediate Medical Attention
In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
alcohol resistant foam, ABC-powder, Extinguishing blanket
High power water jet
In case of fire may be liberated: Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Use water spray jet to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers.
Firefighter Protection
Do not inhale explosion and combustion gases. Use suitable breathing apparatus.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Use personal protection equipment. Remove all sources of ignition. Provide adequate ventilation.
Ensure waste is collected and contained.
Absorb with liquid-binding material
Materials: liquid-binding material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents)

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Inhalation of vapours or spray/mists Skin contact Eye contact Only use the material in places where open light, fire and other flammable sources can be kept away. Handle and open container with care. Keep away from sources of ignition. - No smoking. When using do not eat, drink, smoke, sniff.
Keep only in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Floors should be impervious, resistant to liquids and easy to clean. Protect against Heat. UV-radiation/sunlight.
When using do not eat, drink, smoke, sniff.
Only use the material in places where open light, fire and other flammable sources can be kept away. Keep away from sources of ignition. - No smoking. Vapours are heavier than air, spread along floors and form explosive mixtures with air. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Provide earthing of containers, equipment, pumps and ventilation facilities.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn.
Use protective gloves in accordance with EN 374. Please observe the intended use instructions and permeation times of the glove manufacturer! The indicated permeation times are valid for full contact activities. Full contact gloves should offer permeation times over 120 minutes. Gloves with shorter permeation times are only suitable for short term contact. Contaminated gloves should be disposed of immediately, splattered gloves should be disposed of after the maximum wear time has been reached, at the latest at the end of the work shift. For long, intense, or multiple contact suitable material: laminate film, e.g. Barrier made by Ansell or comparable products. Material thickness: > 0,052 mm. Permeation time > 480 minutes.
Eye glasses with side protection
If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn. Respiratory protection necessary at: exceeding exposure limit values. Combination filtering device (EN 14387)
Required properties antistatic. Recommended material Natural fibres (e.g. cotton)
