First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. In case of respiratory tract irritation, consult a physician. Provide fresh air.
Symptoms: Asthmatic complaints, Respiratory complaints, Dizziness, Headache
Wash immediately with: Water and soap. Do not wash with: Solvents/Thinner. In case of skin irritation, consult a physician.
Symptoms: Allergic reactions
In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist.
Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Let water be drunken in little sips (dilution effect).
Immediate Medical Attention
In case of allergic symptoms, especially in the breathing area, seek medical advice immediately. In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
alcohol resistant foam, ABC-powder, Extinguishing blanket
Burning produces heavy smoke.
Do not inhale explosion and combustion gases.
Firefighter Protection
Use suitable breathing apparatus.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Use personal protection equipment. Remove all sources of ignition. Provide adequate ventilation.
Ensure waste is collected and contained.

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
It is recommended to design all work processes always so that the following is excluded: Inhalation of vapours or spray/mists Skin contact Eye contact Only use the material in places where open light, fire and other flammable sources can be kept away. Handle and open container with care. When using do not eat, drink, smoke, sniff.
Keep only in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Floors should be impervious, resistant to liquids and easy to clean. Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage area. Restrict access to stockrooms. Protect against Heat. UV-radiation/sunlight.
When using do not eat, drink, smoke, sniff.
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Vapours are heavier than air, spread along floors and form explosive mixtures with air. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Provide earthing of containers, equipment, pumps and ventilation facilities.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn.
Use protective gloves in accordance with EN 374. Please observe the intended use instructions and permeation times of the glove manufacturer! Full contact gloves should offer permeation times over 120 minutes. Gloves with shorter permeation times are only suitable for short term contact. Contaminated gloves should be disposed of immediately, splattered gloves should be disposed of after the maximum wear time has been reached, at the latest at the end of the work shift. Suitable material for work with short term contact: nitrile-based rubber, e.g. Camatril made by KCL, or comparable products. Material thickness > 0,4mm. Permeation time > 30 minutes. Suitable material for work with short term contact: butyl-based rubber, e.g. Butoject made by KCL, or comparable products. Material thickness > 0,7mm. Permeation time > 30 minutes.
Eye glasses with side protection DIN EN 166
If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn. Respiratory protection necessary at: exceeding exposure limit values. Suitable respiratory protection apparatus: Combination filtering device (EN 14387)
Required properties antistatic. Recommended material Natural fibres (e.g. cotton)
