Emergency First Aid Measures
Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
Inhalation Exposure
Move to fresh air. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Symptoms:
Inhalation of spray mist may irritate the respiratory tract.
Skin Contact
Wash skin with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Eye Contact
Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 5 minutes. Hold the eyelids apart. Remove any contact lenses. Contact physician if irritation persists.
Symptoms:
Eye irritation with redness, burning sensation and tearing.
Ingestion/Swallowing
Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water (200-300 ml). See a physician if large amounts have been ingested.
Symptoms:
Discomfort, larger amounts may cause nausea and headaches.
Immediate Medical Attention Required
Get medical attention if any discomfort continues (inhalation, skin). Contact physician if irritation persists (eyes). See a physician if large amounts have been ingested (ingestion).
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically. No specific information from the manufacturer.
Fire Fighting Measures & Emergency Response
Fire suppression methods, extinguishing media, and firefighting safety procedures
Suitable Extinguishing Media
Water spray, fog or mist. Alcohol resistant foam. Carbon dioxide or dry powder.
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media
Do not use water jet.
Specific Fire Hazards
The product is flammable, and heating may generate vapours which may form explosive vapour/air mixtures. Vapours are heavier than air and may spread near ground to sources of ignition.
Fire Fighting Instructions
Containers close to fire should be removed immediately or cooled with water.
Firefighter Protection Equipment
Use compressed air equipment when the chemical is involved in fire. In case of evacuation, an approved protection mask should be used. See also section 8.
Accidental Release Measures & Spill Response
Emergency spill cleanup procedures, containment methods, and environmental protection
Emergency Procedures
Remove all ignition sources and ventilate the area.
Environmental Precautions
Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
Cleanup Methods
Absorb spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material. Collect in a suitable container and dispose as hazardous waste according to section 13.
Cleanup Materials:
non-combustible, absorbent material

Storage Conditions
• Store in accordance with regulations for flammable goods.
• Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, well-ventilated room, protected from direct sunlight.
General Hygiene Measures
Wash hands after contact with the chemical. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work.
Fire Prevention Measures
Do not smoke or use open fire, or other sources of ignition.
Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment
Engineering Controls
Provide adequate ventilation.
Hand Protection
Normally not required.
Eye Protection
Normally not necessary. Wear approved, tight fitting safety glasses where splashing is probable. Reference to relevant standard EN 166 (Personal eye-protection. Specifications).
Respiratory Protection
Normally not required. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear half or full face mask with gas filter A (brown, organic vapor filter). Reference to relevant standard EN 14387 (Respiratory protective devices. Gas filter(s) and combined filter(s). Requirements, testing, marking).
Skin/Body Protection
Ordinary workwear.
Environmental Exposure Controls
Do not allow to enter into sewer, water system or soil.
