First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

Symptoms: High concentration of vapours may induce: headache, nausea, dizziness. Coughing.

Skin contact

Rinse immediately contaminated clothing and skin with plenty of water before removing clothes.

Symptoms: Not expected to present a significant skin hazard under anticipated conditions of normal use.

Eye contact

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Consult an ophthalmologist if irritation persists.

Symptoms: Eye irritation.

Ingestion

Let water be swallowed in little sips (dilution effect). Do NOT induce vomiting. Get medical advice/attention. Rinse mouth out with water.
