First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Whilst protecting yourself remove the casualty from the hazardous area and take him to fresh air and keep at rest. If the person is unconscious, place him/her in side position suitable for transportation. If breathing is interrupted, give artificial respiration. Appropriate precautions must be taken for the person who helps.

Skin contact

Whilst protecting yourself, relocate the casualty away from the source of danger. Remove contaminated clothing. Immediately clean the affected skin areas under running water. Arrange medical treatment.

Eye contact

Remove lense sif present. Wash, eyelids, open thoroughly and immediately with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes. Consult a doctor immediately.

Ingestion

Gargle with warm water and drink as much water as possible. Consult a doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting if it is not clearly allowed by the doctor.

Immediate Medical Attention

Consult a doctor immediately.

Medical Treatment

Treat according to symptoms.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Forem, CO2, dry chemicals.

Unsuitable media

Never use a direct water jet on burning material

Specific hazards

Possible increase in pressure in closed cups due to heat. Heating may cause explosion. The fire produces intense black smoke. Thermal decomposition may lead to the development of irritating vapors or gases and / or fire. Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard.

Instructions

If exposed to fire keep the vessel cool by spraying water. Use explosion-proof electrical equipment. Use spark-free hand tools.

Firefighter Protection

The pressure demand type self-contained breathing apparatus must be provided to the firemen on the premises or in the closed area where this product is stored. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing for chemical substances.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Empty the area upon accidental release of this material.

Environmental

Avoid media discharge.

Cleanup methods

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Comply with health and safety precautions as prescribed by work practices. Keep the vessel tightly closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and sources of open flame. Always keep in containers made from the same material as the original material. Avoid eye and skin contact. Avoid breathing spray particles from the application.

Storage

Observe the precautions in the label. Block unauthorized access. The opened containers must be carefully closed again and held upright to prevent leakage. Only use containers, pipes, gaskets, etc. made of materials suitable for use with organic solvents. Store in a well-ventilated place. Do not expose yourself to direct sunlight.

Hygiene

Do not eat, drink or smoke in the application area.

Fire prevention

Keep away from heat, sparks and sources of open flame. Keep away from heat sources, prevent static buildup, ground. Do not smoke. Keep away from sources of ignition.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Hands

Use suitable protective gloves.

Eyes

Wear chemical safety goggles.

Respiratory

Install a gas mask when the concentration in the air exceeds the standard level.

Skin/Body

Wear suitable protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.

Environmental

Review the Community Environmental Protection Legislation.
