First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move the affected person away from the contaminated area and into the fresh air.

Skin contact

In the event of contact with the liquid: treat resulting frostbite as a burn. Immediately remove contaminated clothing or footwear. Immediately rinse with plenty of water.

Symptoms: If skin burns appear

Eye contact

Rinse immediately and thoroughly, pulling the eyelids well away from the eye (15 minutes minimum). Consult an eye specialist immediately.

Ingestion

Not specifically applicable (gas).

Immediate Medical Attention

If skin burns appear, call a doctor immediately. Consult an eye specialist immediately.

05

Firefighting Measures

Suitable media

All extinguishing agents can be used.

Unsuitable media

None to our knowledge. If there is a fire close by, use suitable extinguishing agents.

Specific hazards

pressure rise and possible bursting of container. On heating : Toxic and corrosive vapours are released.

Instructions

Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.

Firefighter Protection

Self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete protective clothing.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Remove all sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Evacuate the danger area. Do not breathe smoke. Stop the leak. For non-emergency personnel: Evacuate area. For emergency responders: Evacuate the danger area.
