First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove the victim into fresh air

Skin contact

Wash immediately with lots of water

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water

Ingestion

Rinse mouth with water. Immediately after ingestion: give lots of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting.

Immediate Medical Attention

Respiratory problems: consult a doctor/medical service. Take victim to a doctor if irritation persists. Take victim to an ophthalmologist if irritation persists. Consult a doctor/medical service if you feel unwell.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Quantities of water, Polyvalent foam, BC powder, Carbon dioxide

Unsuitable media

No unsuitable extinguishing media known

Specific hazards

May be ignited by sparks, Gas/vapour spreads at floor level: ignition hazard, Aerosol may explode under the effect of heat, May polymerize on exposure to temperature rise

Instructions

If exposed to fire cool the closed containers by spraying with water, Physical explosion risk: extinguish/cool from behind cover, Do not move the load if exposed to heat, After cooling: persistent risk of physical explosion, Dilute toxic gases with water spray

Firefighter Protection

Gloves, Protective goggles, Head/neck protection, Protective clothing, Heat/fire exposure: compressed air/oxygen apparatus

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Environmental

Dam up the solid spill. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. See heading 13.

Cleanup methods

Allow product to solidify and remove it by mechanical means. Take collected spill to manufacturer/competent authority.
