Notes
There are no additional ingredients present which, within the current knowledge of the supplier and in the concentrations applicable, are classified as hazardous to health or the environment, are PBTs or vPvBs or have been assigned a workplace exposure limit and hence require reporting in this section.
First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If difficulties occur after dust has been inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical attention.
Symptoms: Irritation of the nose, throat and lungs.
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use recognised skin cleanser.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Keep person warm and at rest. Wash out mouth with water. If swallowed, drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.
Immediate Medical Attention
In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically. No specific treatment.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use dry chemical, CO₂, water spray (fog) or foam.
Do not use water jet.
Self-heating material. May catch fire. May form explosive dust-air mixture if dispersed.
Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water.
Firefighter Protection
Appropriate breathing apparatus may be required.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
For non-emergency personnel : Avoid breathing dust. Refer to protective measures listed in sections 7 and 8. For emergency responders : If specialised clothing is required to deal with the spillage, take note of any information in Section 8 on suitable and unsuitable materials. See also the information in "For non-emergency personnel".
Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.
Preferably clean with a detergent. Avoid using solvents.

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Avoid breathing dust. Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see Section 8). Comply with the health and safety at work laws.
Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed. Store in a segregated and approved area. Store bulk masses greater than 100 kg/220 lbs at temperatures not exceeding 60 °C/140 °F. Eliminate all ignition sources. Store away from other materials. Maintain air gap between stacks/pallets. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
Eating, drinking and smoking should be prohibited in areas where this material is handled, stored and processed. Workers should wash hands and face before eating, drinking and smoking. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Eliminate all ignition sources.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Provide adequate ventilation. Where reasonably practicable, this should be achieved by the use of local exhaust ventilation and good general extraction. If these are not sufficient to maintain concentrations of particulates and solvent vapours below the OEL, suitable respiratory protection must be worn.
Wear suitable gloves tested to EN374. There is no one glove material or combination of materials that will give unlimited resistance to any individual or combination of chemicals. Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard should be worn at all times when handling chemical products if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary. Considering the parameters specified by the glove manufacturer, check during use that the gloves are still retaining their protective properties. It should be noted that the time to breakthrough for any glove material may be different for different glove manufacturers. In the case of mixtures, consisting of several substances, the protection time of the gloves cannot be accurately estimated. Barrier creams may help to protect the exposed areas of the skin but should not be applied once exposure has occurred.
Safety eyewear should be used when there is a likelihood of exposure. Use eye protection according to EN 166.
In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. Respirator selection must be based on known or anticipated exposure levels, the hazards of the product and the safe working limits of the selected respirator. Use a properly fitted, particulate filter respirator complying with an approved standard if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary.
Personnel should wear antistatic clothing made of natural fibres or of high-temperature-resistant synthetic fibres.
Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses.
Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance, physical state, melting point, boiling point, and material characteristics
Stability and Reactivity
Chemical stability, hazardous reactions, and incompatible materials
Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions (see Section 7).
This product, by reaction with air and without energy supply, is liable to self-heat and will ignite when in large amounts and after long periods of time. The spontaneous ignition temperature will be ≤ 50°C for a volume of 450 litres.
Hazardous reactions or instability may occur under certain conditions of storage or use. Reactions may include the following: risk of causing fire, spontaneous flammability.
extended contact with air in bulk storage
Keep away from the following materials to prevent strong exothermic reactions: oxidising agents, strong alkalis, strong acids.
