First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

If inhalation of dusts occurs, go to a fresh air environment until dust settles and throat clears. A dust mask respirator may be used voluntarily to further reduce this risk.

Symptoms: coughing or discomfort

Skin contact

Wash the exposed area with water and dry skin completely before returning to work. Gloves and or long sleeve clothing can be used to minimize this risk.

Symptoms: dryness

Eye contact

If dust begins to irritate the eyes, wash your eyes out with clean water for 15 minutes or until discomfort discontinues. If irritation persists, contact emergency personnel as required. Use of wrap around safety glasses or goggles can minimize this risk.

Symptoms: irritation

Ingestion

If nausea does occur when working with this compound, do not induce vomiting and contact your local medical professional and provide them with this SDS.

Symptoms: nausea

Immediate Medical Attention

If irritation persists, contact emergency personnel as required. If nausea does occur, contact your local medical professional.

Medical Treatment

None required
