Remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult contact a physician.

Skin contact

Wash with soap and water.

Eye contact

Flush with water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth with water. Contact physician.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Dry chemical powder, foam, carbon dioxide.

Unsuitable media

Do not use water spray as this will scatter the fire.

Specific hazards

Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.

Instructions

Contact emergency personnel as necessary. Avoid breathing smoke, fumes and decomposition products. Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance.

Firefighter Protection

As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Absorb on sand or vermiculite and place in closed container for disposal. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.
