First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately.
Do not pull bonded skin apart. Soak in warm soapy water. Gently peel apart using a blunt object such as a spoon.
If the eye is bonded shut, apply warm water with a wet pad to release the eyelashes. Keep eye covered until debonding is complete. Do not force the eye open. Seek medical attention.
Symptoms: Adhesive will bond to eye protein and will cause the eye to periodically shed tears. Solid particles of cyanoacrylate may be trapped behind the eyelids and cause abrasive damage.
Make sure airways are clear.
Symptoms: Adhesive will immediately polymerize in mouth and will be impossible to swallow. Saliva will slowly separate the adhesive from mouth.
Immediate Medical Attention
If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately. Seek medical attention for eye contact.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Alcohol Foam, Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Foam, Water Spray or Fog
Vapor from this material will readily ignite at temperatures above 150 degrees F if an ignition source is present. Vapors may form an explosive mixture with air at temperatures above 150 degrees F. Eliminate sources of ignition: heat, electrical equipment, sparks and flames.
Use water spray to cool exposed surfaces.
Firefighter Protection
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand (NIOSH approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Immediately eliminate sources of ignition. Contain spilled material and remove with inert absorbent. Dike to prevent entering any sewer or waterway. Transfer liquid to a holding container.
No Information
remove with inert absorbent, absorb with inert material, scrape up dried material and place in container.
Materials: inert material
