First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Move to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.
Remove contaminated clothing and footwear. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water (using soap, if available). If symptoms develop and persist, get medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Alcohol-resistant foam. Carbon dioxide. Dry powder. Water spray or fog.
High pressure waterjet
Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground or be moved by ventilation and subsequently ignited by heat, pilot lights or other ignition sources at locations distant from the material handling point. Closed containers may rupture (due to build up of pressure) when exposed to extreme heat.
In case of fire, keep containers cool with water spray.
Firefighter Protection
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing, such as turn-out gear.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Use personal protection recommended in Section 8, isolate the hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotected personnel.
Do not allow product to enter sewer or waterways.
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Store in a closed container until ready for disposal.
Materials: inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust)

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Keep area ventilated - do not smoke; extinguish all flames, pilot lights, and heaters; turn off stoves, electrical tools and appliances, and any other sources of ignition. Prevent contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe vapor and mist. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wear suitable protective clothing, safety glasses and gloves.
Store between -20 °C (-4°F) and 50 °C (122°F). Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials. Keep away from heat, spark and flame. Protect from direct sunlight. Maintain head space in storage containers to support oxygen requirements of the inhibitor(s).
Wash thoroughly after handling.
