First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Supply fresh air. If required give artificial respiration. Keep patient warm. In case of unconsciousness place patient stable in side position for transportation.
Symptoms: Headache, dizziness, breathing difficulties, narcotic effects.
Wash off with plenty of water and soap.
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Continue to rinse for at least 10 minutes.
Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting.
Immediate Medical Attention
In case of irritation of the respiratory system seek medical help. Consult physician immediately (after ingestion).
Medical Treatment
Subsequent observation for pneumonia and pulmonary edema.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), extinguishing powder, water spray jet.
Water with full jet.
