First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

Skin contact

Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.

Eye contact

In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Assure adequate flushing of the eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Allow victim to rinse his mouth with water provided person is conscious. Drink 2-4 cupfulls of water.

Firefighting Measures
