First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Fresh air, rest in half sitting position.

Symptoms: Irritation of the bronchial tract, narcotic effects, dizziness and headaches may occur with high vapour concentrations.

Skin contact

Rinse affected area thoroughly with water to remove concentrated product. Remove contaminated clothing.

Symptoms: Redness, pain. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin to become dry or irritated.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately and for at least 15 minutes with copious amounts of water (also assure adequate flushing under the eyelids and if possible after having removed contact lenses). Bring the victim to an ophthalmist.

Symptoms: Corrosion, redness, pain. Vapours may be irritating to eyes and may cause corneal damage.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth and do not induce vomiting.

Symptoms: Abdominal pain. Sore throat. Nausea. Vomiting.

Immediate Medical Attention

Seek medical advice. Seek medical attention. Bring the victim to an ophthalmist.
