First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Give oxygen or artificial respiration if necessary.

Symptoms: Inhalation may cause irritation (cough, short breathing, difficulty in breathing).

Skin contact

Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Symptoms: Burns. irritation (itching, redness, blistering).

Eye contact

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
