First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Fresh air, rest in half sitting position.

Skin contact

Rinse affected area thoroughly with water to remove concentrated product. Remove contaminated clothing.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately and for at least 15 minutes with copious amounts of water (also assure adequate flushing under the eyelids and if possible after having removed contact lenses). Bring the victim to an ophthalmist.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth and do not induce vomiting.

Immediate Medical Attention

Seek medical attention.

Medical Treatment

No specific recommendations.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

All extinguishing media can be used. Alcohol resistant foam.

Unsuitable media

Do not use a heavy water stream.

Specific hazards

None.

Instructions

Cool heat-exposed product with water spray.

Firefighter Protection

Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. See Heading 8.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Spill area may be slippery. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Environmental

Avoid release to the environment.

Cleanup methods

Collect leakage in non-lockable container. Absorb spillage with sand or inert material and transfer to a safe area and dispose of as chemical waste. If desired rinse remainder with water.

Materials: sand or inert material
