Type mixture

This preparation does not contain any substances presenting a health or environmental hazard within the meaning of the Dangerous Substances Directive 67/548/EEC.

04

First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air, keep patient warm and at rest, if breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Give nothing by mouth. If unconscious place in recovery position and seek medical advice.

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use recognised skin cleanser. Do NOT use solvents or thinners.

Eye contact

Remove contact lenses, irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water for at least 10 minutes, holding the eyelids apart and seek medical advice.

Ingestion

If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical attention. Keep at rest. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Immediate Medical Attention

If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical attention.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

alcohol resistant foam, CO₂, powders, water spray

Unsuitable media

waterjet

Specific hazards

Fire will produce dense black smoke. Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard.

Instructions

Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water.

Firefighter Protection

Appropriate breathing apparatus may be required.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Avoid breathing vapours.

Environmental

If the product contaminates lakes, rivers or sewers, inform appropriate authorities in accordance with local regulations.

Cleanup methods

Clean preferably with a detergent; avoid use of solvents.

07

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Keep container tightly closed. Avoid skin and eye contact. Avoid inhalation of vapour and spray mist. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in application area. Never use pressure to empty : container is not a pressure vessel. Always keep in containers of same material as the original one. Comply with the health and safety at work laws.

Storage

Store in accordance with local regulations. Store between 5 and 25°C in a dry, well ventilated place. Prevent unauthorized access. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Hygiene

Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in application area.

Fire prevention

No smoking.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Provide adequate ventilation. Where reasonably practicable this should be achieved by the use of local exhaust ventilation and good general extraction.

Hands

For prolonged or repeated contact, use neoprene gloves . Barrier creams may help to protect the exposed areas of the skin, they should however not be applied once exposure has occurred.

Eyes

Use safety eyewear designed to protect against splash of liquids.

Respiratory

not applicable
