First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove victim into fresh air. In case of respiratory problems, consult a doctor/medical service.

Symptoms: AFTER INHALATION OF DUST: Slight irritation. Dry/sore throat. Coughing. EXPOSURE TO HIGH CONCENTRATIONS: Irritation of the respiratory tract. Respiratory difficulties.

Skin contact

If possible, wipe up/dry remove chemical. If irritation persists, consult a doctor/medical service.

Symptoms: Red skin. ON CONTINUOUS EXPOSURE/CONTACT: Tingling/irritation of the skin.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If irritation persists, consult a doctor/medical service.

Symptoms: Irritation of the eye tissue. ON CONTINUOUS EXPOSURE/CONTACT: Inflammation/damage of the eye tissue.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth with water. Do not wait for symptoms to occur to consult Poison Center.
