Suitable media

Water Foam Carbon dioxide (CO2) Dry powder

Unsuitable media

For this substance/mixture no limitations of extinguishing agents are given.

Specific hazards

Carbon oxides Sulphur oxides Combustible. Vapours are heavier than air and may spread along floors. Forms explosive mixtures with air on intense heating.

Instructions

Remove container from danger zone and cool with water. Suppress (knock down) gases/vapours/mists with a water spray jet.

Firefighter Protection

In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Do not breathe vapours, aerosols. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Evacuate the danger area, observe emergency procedures, consult an expert.

Environmental

Do not let product enter drains.
