First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Get medical advice/attention.

Skin contact

Remove contaminated, saturated clothing immediately. Wash off any skin contamination immediately. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately carefully and thoroughly with eye-bath or water. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Consult an ophthalmologist.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth immediately and drink 1 glass of of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person or a person with cramps. Get medical advice/attention.

Medical Treatment

Treatment can be analogous to intoxication from alcoholic beverages, especially monitoring cardiovascular function. After massive inhalation administration of glucocorticoids (inhalative). If necessary, all further measures for pulmonary edema prophylaxis. If necessary, treat skin irritations with a dermatocorticoid foam.

Instructions

In case of fire: Evacuate area. Fight fire remotely due to the risk of explosion. Use dry extinguishing powder to extinguish.
