First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
IF INHALED: If breathing is difficult, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Symptoms: Coughing, May cause shortness of breath.
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs, get medical advice/attention.
Symptoms: Causes skin irritation.
IF IN EYES: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Obtain prompt consultation, preferably from an ophthalmologist. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
Symptoms: Causes serious eye damage.
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Wash out mouth with water and give 200-300 ml (half a pint) of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical personnel. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Symptoms: Abdominal pain.
Immediate Medical Attention
Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically. IF IN EYES: Treatment by an ophthalmologist due to possible caustic burn of the eyes may be required.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
As appropriate for surrounding fire. Use water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2 to extinguish.
Direct water jet may spread the fire.
Product is not classified as flammable, but will burn on contact with flame or exposure to high temperature. Forms flammable and explosive hydrogen through corrosion of metals (Aluminium), perchloric acid.
Fight fire with normal precautions from a reasonable distance. Keep containers cool by spraying with water if exposed to fire.
Firefighter Protection
Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Caution - spillages may be slippery. Ensure operatives are trained to minimise exposures. Ensure suitable personal protection during removal of spillages. Shut off leaks if without risk.
Avoid release to the environment.
Adsorb spillages onto sand, earth or any suitable adsorbent material. Transfer to a container for disposal.

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Ensure operatives are trained to minimise exposures. Ensure adequate ventilation. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. Avoid breathing vapours. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective gloves/eye protection. This product should be kept away from naked flames and other sources of ignition. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Store in a cool/low-temperature, well-ventilated (dry) place away from heat and ignition sources. Avoid contact with moisture. Store in a cool dry place away from sources of heat and UV light
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash hands before breaks and after work.
This product should be kept away from naked flames and other sources of ignition.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Ensure adequate ventilation. Store in a cool/low-temperature, well-ventilated (dry) place away from heat and ignition sources. A washing facility/water for eye and skin cleaning purposes should be present.
Wear suitable chemical resistant protective gloves for frequent or prolonged operations tested to EN374 with an acceptable permeation test. Contaminated gloves should be carefully rinsed with water before reuse. Breakthrough time of the glove material: refer to the information provided by the gloves' producer. Recommended: Prolonged, direct contact: Nitrile rubber Minimum thickness: 0.11mm) Protective index 6, corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374. During splash contact: Nitrile rubber Minimum thickness: 1.11mm) Protective index 6, corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374
Use eye protection according to EN 166, designed to protect against liquid splashes.
Respiratory protection is not necessary if room is well ventilated. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. A suitable mask with filter type A (EN141 or EN405) may be appropriate.
Wear suitable coveralls to prevent exposure to the skin.
Avoid release to the environment.
