First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If breathing is difficult, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention
Symptoms: Causes skin irritation
Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. In the case of difficulty of opening the lids, administer an analgesic eye wash. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Obtain prompt consultation, preferably from an ophthalmologist.
Symptoms: Causes serious eye damage
Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. Do NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs turn patient on side. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Wash out mouth with water and give 200-300 ml (half a pint) of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
Immediate Medical Attention
Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Obtain prompt consultation, preferably from an ophthalmologist.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
As appropriate for surrounding fire. Foam, CO2 or dry powder.
Direct water jet may spread the fire.
Product is not classified as flammable, but will burn on contact with flame or exposure to high temperature.
Fight fire with normal precautions from a reasonable distance. Keep containers cool by spraying with water if exposed to fire.
Firefighter Protection
Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Caution - spillages may be slippery. Ensure operatives are trained to minimise exposures. Ensure suitable personal protection during removal of spillages. Do not breathe vapour. Eliminate sources of ignition. Use explosion proof electrical equipment. Shut off leaks if without risk. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not ingest. Avoid all contact.
Cover with absorbent or contain. Collect and dispose. Provided it is safe to do so, isolate the source of the leak. Ensure adequate ventilation. Adsorb spillages onto sand, earth or any suitable adsorbent material. Transfer to a container for disposal. Disposal should be in accordance with local, state or national legislation. Wash the spillage area with water. If possible prevent water running into sewers. Ventilate the area and wash spill site after material pick-up is complete.
Avoid release to the environment.

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Ensure operatives are trained to minimise exposures. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. Do not breathe vapour. Avoid all contact. Wear protective gloves/eye protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool/low-temperature, well-ventilated (dry) place away from heat and ignition sources. Store in a cool dry place away from sources of heat and UV light.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Use explosion proof electrical equipment.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Ensure adequate ventilation. Store in a cool/low-temperature, well-ventilated (dry) place away from heat and ignition sources.
Wear suitable chemical resistant protective gloves for frequent or prolonged operations tested to EN374 with an acceptable permeation test. Contaminated gloves should be carefully rinsed with water before reuse. Breakthrough time of the glove material: refer to the information provided by the gloves' producer. Recommended: Prolonged, direct contact: Nitrile rubber Minimum thickness: 0.4mm, Butyl rubber Minimum thickness: 0.3mm. Protective index 6, corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374. During splash contact: Nitrile rubber Minimum thickness: 1.11mm. Protective index 6, corresponding > 480 minutes of permeation time according to EN 374.
Use eye protection according to EN 166, designed to protect against liquid splashes. Wear suitable face shield.
Respiratory protection is not necessary if room is well ventilated. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. A suitable mask with filter type A (EN141 or EN405) may be appropriate.
Wear impervious protective clothing, including boots, lab coat, apron or coveralls, as appropriate, to prevent skin contact.
Avoid release to the environment.
