First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a doctor. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention immediately.

Symptoms: Coughing and/ or wheezing. Difficulty in breathing.

Skin contact

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. If symptoms persist, call a doctor.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Do not rub affected area. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
