First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Allow affected person to breathe fresh air. Allow the patient to rest.

Skin contact

Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse.

Symptoms: Prolonged or repeated skin contact with the material will remove natural oils which leads to a dermatitis.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persists.

Symptoms: Liquid splashes in the eye may cause irritation.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Symptoms: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

Immediate Medical Attention

In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.

05
