First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
When symptoms occur: go into open air and ventilate suspected area. Keep at rest and in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
Symptoms: Causes irritation to the respiratory tract. May cause allergy like asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled.
Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse off affected area with water and soap. Obtain medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Symptoms: Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction.
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing for at least 15 minutes. Immediately call a doctor/physician.
Symptoms: Causes serious eye irritation.
Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. If spontaneous vomiting occurs, have victim lean forward with head positioned between legs to avoid breathing in of vomit, rinse mouth and have victim drink plenty of water. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Symptoms: Ingestion is likely to be harmful or have adverse effects.
Immediate Medical Attention
If exposed or concerned, get medical advice and attention.
Medical Treatment
Symptomatic treatment, no special antidote known. For pulmonary oedema prophylaxis: dexamethasone aerosol.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Dry extinguishing agents, carbon dioxide, water sprays.
None.
Fire Hazard: Not a flammable liquid, but will burn if in fire. Explosion Hazard: Product is not explosive. Reactivity: One component of a two component reaction resin to form a urea-silicate grout.
Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.
Firefighter Protection
Firefighters should wear full protective gear.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Evacuate danger area. In the event of a spill or leak of material apply absorbant and scoop up material. As in all spills, minimize material from entering water systems.
Avoid release to the environment. As in all spills, minimize material from entering water systems.
Clear up spills immediately and dispose of waste safely.
