Symptoms: headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting

Skin contact

Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.

Symptoms: skin irritation and dermatitis

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Summon a doctor immediately. Induce vomiting only upon the advice of a physician.

Immediate Medical Attention

Summon a doctor immediately.

Medical Treatment

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical, water-spray.

Unsuitable media

Full water jet.

Specific hazards

Fire may produce: carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx)

Instructions

Cool containers at risk with water spray jet.

Firefighter Protection

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Environmental

Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/ground water. Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.

Cleanup methods

Soak up with inert absorbent material; Shovel into suitable container for disposal.

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Storage

Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Pressurized container: protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use.

Fire prevention

No special protective measures against fire required.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Hands

Protective gloves resistant to chemicals made off butyl, minimum coat thickness 0.7 mm, permeation resistance (wear duration) > 240 minutes, i.e. protective glove <butoject 898> made by www.kcl.de. This recommendation refers exclusively to the chemical compatibility and the lab test conforming to EN 374 carried out under lab conditions. Requirements can vary as a function of the use. Therefore it is necessary to adhere additionally to the recommendations given by the manufacturer of protective gloves. Not required under normal use.

Eyes

Safety goggles with side protection (EN 166).

Respiratory

In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment (gas filter type A) (EN 14387).

Skin/Body

Long sleeved clothing (DIN EN ISO 6530)
