Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation to minimize vapour concentrations.

Hands

Wear suitable gloves (EN 374 or equivalent). Short-term contact: nitrile/neoprene, 0.2 mm. Prolonged or repeated contact: nitrile, 1.25 mm. The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

Eyes

Chemical goggles or safety glasses (EN ISO 16321 or equivalent).

Respiratory

Where exposure through inhalation may occur from use, respiratory protection equipment is recommended. Respiratory protection with filter type ABEK (EN 14387 or equivalent).

Skin/Body
