First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

In the event of dizziness or nausea, remove casualty to fresh air, if symptoms persist, obtain medical advice.

Symptoms: dizziness, nausea, irritation of mucous membranes of the respiratory system

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothing, wash affected skin with soap and water, rinse thoroughly with water, in case of irritation or redness contact your doctor.

Symptoms: chemical irritation of the skin

Eye contact

Rinse for several minutes (about 15) with plenty of water, holding eyelids apart. Avoid strong stream, due to the risk of corneal damage, contact your doctor.

Symptoms: chemical irritation of eyes

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting, drink plenty of water, rinse your mouth with water, immediately contact your doctor.

Symptoms: irritation of the mucous membranes of mouth, gastrointestinal tract. There may be symptoms of food poisoning, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting. Ingestion of large amounts of the product can cause damage to internal organs, liver, kidneys.

Immediate Medical Attention

Immediately contact your doctor for ingestion. Contact your doctor for eye contact, skin contact (if irritation or redness), or inhalation (if symptoms persist).

Medical Treatment

The decision about how to conduct the physician.

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

foam, dry powder extinguishers, CO₂, water spray. Use appropriate extinguishing method for conditions.

Unsuitable media

Water with full jet

Specific hazards

During a fire, high temperature, release toxic decomposition products containing carbon oxides.

Instructions

Containers in fire area cooled with water spray, if it is possible to remove the danger zone.

Firefighter Protection

In the event of a fire in a confined space should wear protective clothing and breathing apparatus with compressed air.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

For non-emergency personnel: notify the appropriate service. Remove from the hazardous area who does not participate in liquidation of failure. For emergency responders: Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal protective equipment. Do not breathe vapors.

Environmental

Prevent from spreading or escaping into drains and reservoirs.

Cleanup methods

Absorb with inert, absorbent material. The contaminated material is placed in properly labeled containers for disposal in accordance with applicable regulations.

Materials: inert, absorbent material (such as sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth, etc.)

07

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid inhalation of vapors. Follow the instructions provided on the label and instructions for use.

Storage

Store in a cool (storage temperature should not exceed 30°C), dry, well ventilated place in properly labeled and tightly closed original container. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, hot surfaces and open flames.

Hygiene

Do not eat, drink and smoke at work, wash your hands after use, remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering places for meals.

Fire prevention

Avoid sources of ignition, heat, hot surfaces and open flames.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

It is recommended to use proper ventilation.

Hands

Wear protective gloves resistant to chemicals made of neoprene, rubber or PVC compatible with EN374. The selection of suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on the brand and quality resulting from differences in manufacturers. Resistance of the material, the glove can be determined after the tests. The exact time of the destruction of the protective gloves must be determined by the manufacturer.

Eyes

Use safety glasses (according to EN 166)

Respiratory

Avoid inhalation of vapors. Use personal respiratory protection. In the case of risk of inhalation of concentrated vapors, use the mask with a filter A or universal (class 1,2 or 3) according to EN 141.

Skin/Body

Wear protective clothing working - wash regularly.

Environmental

Prevent the spread in the environment and enter drains and watercourses.
