First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a poison center or a doctor.
Symptoms: Cough. Dry/sore throat. Irritation of the nasal mucous membranes. May cause irritation to the respiratory tract. Possible respiratory damage following repeated or prolonged inhalation.
Wash skin with plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
Symptoms: Irritation. Red skin.
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a physician immediately.
Symptoms: Serious damage to eyes. redness, itching, tears. Swelling. Permanent eye damage.
Call a poison center or a doctor if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth out with water. Do not induce vomiting. Ingestion of large quantities: immediately to hospital. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.
Symptoms: May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
