First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move the person away from the place of exposure and take him/her outside.

Skin contact

Remove all contaminated or stained clothing immediately. Do not use them again until they have been decontaminated. Rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.

Symptoms: skin irritation

Eye contact

If applicable, remove contact lenses. Wash thoroughly with soft clean water for 15 minutes, holding the eyelids open.

Symptoms: redness, pain or visual impairment

Ingestion

Rinse out the mouth, do not allow to drink, do not induce vomiting. Calm the person down and transfer immediately to hospital or doctor. Show the label to the doctor.

Immediate Medical Attention

Transfer immediately to hospital or doctor in the event of swallowing. Consult an ophthalmologist if there is any redness, pain or visual impairment. Seek medical advice in the event of skin irritation.

Absorb any spilled product with absorbent non-combustible materials, and sweep away or remove with a shovel. Put any waste in drums for disposal. Do not mix with any other waste. Wash the contaminated surface thoroughly with water.

Handling

Product for external use - do not swallow. Avoid all contact with skin or eyes. Do not hermetically seal the container when the mixture ACTIVATOR/GENERATOR has been performed.

Storage

Keep well away from combustible materials and reducing agents (amines), acids, bases, heavy metal compounds (accelerators, siccative agents, metallic salts). Keep away from heat. Recommended storage temperature: from +5°C to +25°C. Please refer to safety data sheets of products ACTIVATOR and GENERATOR for their own storage conditions before use. Keep out of the reach of children

Engineering

Ensure the rooms are well-ventilated.

Hands

When handling this product, wear suitable gloves. Butyl or nitrile gloves are recommended. Gloves must be replaced immediately if they show signs of wear and tear.

Eyes

Make safety goggles with side protection available to the personnel. Avoid all contact with skin or eyes.

Respiratory

In case of insufficient ventilation, with the risk of exceeding the TLVs (Treshold Limit Values)/TWA, wear suitable breathing apparatus. Use Type B1P1 or B2P2 filters.
