First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Allow affected person to breathe fresh air. Allow the victim to rest. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.

Symptoms: Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Inhalation of high concentration vapours may cause respiratory irritation.

Skin contact

Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of water/... Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.

Symptoms: Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Eye contact

In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water for 10-15 minutes. Contact ophthalmologist immediately.

Symptoms: Burning sensation. Redness.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth. Obtain emergency medical attention. Do NOT induce vomiting. Allow the victim to rest.

Symptoms: Ingestion unlikely.

Immediate Medical Attention

Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops. Contact ophthalmologist immediately. Obtain emergency medical attention.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.
